Terms of Service

The short version: we clean your home, you pay for the service, and we both act like reasonable people.

Who we are

Hauzkeep LLC ("Hauzkeep," "we," "us") is a residential cleaning service operating in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When you book a clean through hauzkeep.com, you're agreeing to these terms.

Booking and payment

When you book, your credit or debit card is saved securely through Stripe. You are not charged at the time of booking. Your card is charged only after your clean is confirmed complete. Minnesota sales tax is added to your total at checkout.

All prices shown on hauzkeep.com are base prices before tax. Your final charge will include applicable Minnesota state and local sales tax.

Cancellation and rescheduling

24+ hours notice: Cancel or reschedule for free. Full refund if already charged.

Less than 24 hours notice: A 50% cancellation fee applies. Your cleaner has already reserved that time for you.

Our service

We provide residential cleaning services for apartments, condos, and townhomes in Minneapolis. All cleaning supplies and equipment are provided by Hauzkeep. Our cleaners are independent contractors (not employees) who have been interviewed, background-checked, and vetted by Hauzkeep.

We do our best to match you with the same cleaner for each visit, but we cannot guarantee this for every appointment.

Donation pickup (Fresh Start)

Each clean includes free donation pickup of one bag of clothes or apparel (up to 15 gallons). Items are donated to local charities in the Minneapolis area. Hauzkeep is not responsible for items once they are picked up. We accept clothes and apparel only — no furniture, electronics, books, or household goods.

Access to your home

You are responsible for providing safe access to your home for your scheduled clean. This may include lockbox codes, building entry instructions, or being present to let the cleaner in. If our cleaner cannot access your home at the scheduled time, a cancellation fee may apply.

Property and liability

Hauzkeep carries general liability insurance and customer property protection coverage. If something is damaged during a clean, please notify us within 24 hours at hello@hauzkeep.com and we will work to resolve it.

Please secure valuables, fragile items, and important documents before your clean. Hauzkeep is not responsible for items left in areas being cleaned that are not secured.

Satisfaction

If you're not happy with any aspect of your clean, let us know within 24 hours. We'll send someone back to address the issue at no additional charge. We're here to get it right.

Your responsibilities

Please ensure your home is accessible at the scheduled time. Let us know about pets, allergies, or special considerations in your booking notes. Inform us of any hazardous conditions or areas that require special attention.

Privacy

We collect your name, email, phone number, and address to provide our service. Payment information is processed securely through Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
